We approach relief printing as a living practice.
Printing plates are created from the artist’s drawings — whether digital or hand-made — and translated into physical form through cutting and carving.
We are not interested in imitation of historical styles.
Instead, we focus on the material qualities of the process:
- the cut
- the pressure
- the resistance of the surface
- the trace of the tool
We work with wood, linoleum and composite materials, allowing for a wide range of visual results.
Each print carries the physical presence of the matrix.
